Relaxation and meditation are now accepted as tools to lower blood pressure, strengthen the heart, expand the lungs and slow down the aging process.  My classes teach you to relax and train your memory at a cellular level to relax simply by hearing the word. You will also learn the basics of meditation and explore some of the various methods.

I offer a six-week class for beginners in relaxation and meditation. It covers the basic breathing techniques to calm the body, which can be practiced anywhere or anytime.  We also cover four different meditation techniques which are easy and practical.  Find the one that works best for your and grow from there!  I also offer on-going meditation gatherings to continue the practice of meditation.  Please click on the “Calendar” Page to find out when the next Relaxation/Meditation Classes will be held, and when the Meditation Circle meets!

  There are simple tools available that we can use anywhere, anytime to help relieve the effects stress can have on our bodies. By putting into place a few techniques such as correct breathing, calming the mind, body and spirit, and regular meditation, we can combat the negative stresses and strains that occur on a daily basis.

  Conscious Living is a term used in part, to describe being present every moment ~ living in the moment ~ staying in touch with every moment. When we live in the moment, we are able to immediately reduce our stress thus allowing our body, mind and spirit the opportunity to remain healthy, make healthy choices and treat ourselves and others with respect and dignity.

  Daily practice of relaxation and frequent practice of meditation help us make conscious living a way of life.  Progress is made rapidly, yet is not overwhelming. You will naturally start to make changes in your response to live, whether it is stressful family situations, work situations, financial situations or other stressful situations in your life.
